My Story

Last Saturday afternoon I decided to go to the new opening of the mall around my house. I really wanted the new fall collection of pair of socks. But when I got there, it was chaos. There were several protesters with signs that read “Historical over Superficial.”  Apparently the place where they made the new mall was in a historical landmark. I personally couldn’t have cared less, I wanted to buy what I needed, eat and then enjoy the rest of the afternoon.  I went into Forever 21 and bought many pairs of socks, a cute dress, and a jacket. Then I went to the food court and bought myself a chicken salad and grabbed a spork instead a fork. So I had to go back and get a fork and something to drink. I wasn’t ready to go home yet, especially because of all the people outside so I went into a pet store. They had some exotic animals but I really wanted a domestic animal like a puppy. I called my mom and she said we would get one later on in the week. After the pet shop, I went into Barnes & Noble’s because I love books. I asked for a book recommendation and the guy that works there told me I couldn’t go wrong with the complete works of Shakespeare. However although he seemed like he thought the book was great I decided to buy “To Kill A Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. I left the mall, and read the book while taking the bus home.
