My Story

Last Saturday afternoon I decided to go to the new opening of the mall around my house. I really wanted the new fall collection of pair of socks. But when I got there, it was chaos. There were several protesters with signs that read “Historical over Superficial.”  Apparently the place where they made the new mall was in a historical landmark. I personally couldn’t have cared less, I wanted to buy what I needed, eat and then enjoy the rest of the afternoon.  I went into Forever 21 and bought many pairs of socks, a cute dress, and a jacket. Then I went to the food court and bought myself a chicken salad and grabbed a spork instead a fork. So I had to go back and get a fork and something to drink. I wasn’t ready to go home yet, especially because of all the people outside so I went into a pet store. They had some exotic animals but I really wanted a domestic animal like a puppy. I called my mom and she said we would get one later on in the week. After the pet shop, I went into Barnes & Noble’s because I love books. I asked for a book recommendation and the guy that works there told me I couldn’t go wrong with the complete works of Shakespeare. However although he seemed like he thought the book was great I decided to buy “To Kill A Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. I left the mall, and read the book while taking the bus home.

Things we can do without..

Well, for starters I have absolutely no idea why they invented the million dollar bra by Victoria Secrets. What is the point of buying a bra that is worth a million dollars ? That is just ridiculous. That invention is just as dumb as snuggies. No one is their right mind would waste that much money on something that could only be worn at home and could be replaced with a simple sweater and quilt.

Halloween

I don't really have much to say about Halloween considering I don't even celebrate it. The reason I don't celebrate Halloween is because of my religion. I'm Seventh Day Adventist which means I believe in the second coming of Christ. Regardless, I still love all the candy, even though I'm not trick or treating i'm still getting my fair share of candy. I don't really mind that I can't participate in Halloween events such as trick or treating or wearing costumes. iI guess its because im use to it, but it's fine.
